Matlock Town’s winless run was extended to ten games, but they were nevertheless good value for a point gained against high-flying Guiseley.
Both sides created plenty of chances, but neither could ultimately find the defining moment.
The visitors remain in third place in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, but they now remain three points off second-place Worksop Town.
Matlock still resides in 19th place, the final relegation spot, just one point off Whitby Town.
