■ FIFTH-placed Hednesford Town were looking for a fourth-straight league win but were denied by Avro at Keys Park.
The Pitmen started the game strongly, maintaining the bulk of possession and winning several corners and free-kicks, captain Elliott Johnson played the ball narrowly over the bar in the sixth minute while Dan Trickett-Smith forced a save from Grant Shenton as the Pitmen failed to take advantage of their superior possession.
Avro defended well but offered little going forwards.
