TOP OF the table Eastleigh got back to winning ways with a five-goal thriller.
The Spitfires came into this match on the back of their first defeat of the seasdon, while Aldershot, who were bottom of the league going into the fixture, had suffered two defeats on the spin.
Manager Luke Hardy believed they “should have done better” during this dominant spell early on, though they did eventually take the lead through a composed finish by Jamie Arnold in to the bottom corner.
