■ THIS well-deserved win helped the Mitres climb above Town into the play-off places.
The first half was a scrappy affair, not helped by a swirling wind.
Exmouth shaded the half and created the best chance, but Ben Griffith was denied by a goal line block.
The visitors started the second half on the front foot and went ahead after 58 minutes as Jay Malshanskyj cut in from the left, held off his marker and fired home.
