■ THIS defeat to Wellingborough condemned  Grantham to a bottom-four finish.
A dry pitch and a strong wind made control difficult for both sides. Wellingborough pressed early and Tom Iaciofano and Jack O’Connor both forced saves from James Leverton.
Wellingborough forced two late corners in the first half, and from the second, O’Connor volleyed home.
Wellingborough continued to press and after 59 minutes a cross was missed by the Grantham defence and Francesco Obiagwu had a tap in.
