Louie Soares Arrives As Matt Wilson Leaves Alfreton

Matt Wilson has been released by Conference Premier club Alfreton Town, while the Reds have signed Louie Soares on loan.

LONG-SERVING utility man Matt Wilson has been released by Conference Premier club .

The 25-year-old was an integral part of the club’s squad when they secured promotion from the Blue Square Bet North in 2010/11.

Meanwhile, Reds boss Nicky Law has drafted in Grimsby Town midfielder Louie Soares on loan until the end of the season.

Soares, 28, has played 15 times for the Mariners since joining them in January last year and has also spent time on loan at .

The former Reading, Aldershot, Southend and midfielder will remain at the Impact Arena until April 20.

He will not be allowed to feature in the game between his parent club and Alfreton on February 2.
