LUKE FOSTER has rejoined Lincoln City eight years after joining them as a young professional.

The centre-back initially signed for the Imps back in the summer of 2005 after coming through the ranks at Wednesday.

He went on to make 17 appearances for them before going on to have spells with , Oxford United, Mansfield Town and Stevenage.

He was released by Preston at the end of last season and linked up with Lincoln for a pre-season trial.

Imps boss Gary Simpson has been suitably impressed by his contribution and has handed a contract for the forthcoming 2013/14 Conference Premier campaign.
