Chester FC manager Neil Young has praised the contribution of Rochdale loanee Craig Curran against Worksop Town in The FA Trophy on Saturday.

CHESTER FC manager Neil Young has praised the contribution of Rochdale loanee Craig Curran against Worksop Town in The FA Trophy on Saturday.

The 23-year-old joined the Blues on Friday and came on as a second-half substitute in the 2-2 draw.

Although he failed to get on the scoresheet, Young was impressed by what he saw from the Dale frontman.

Speaking to the club’s website, the Blues boss said: “I thought he was excellent when he came on.”

Curran, formerly a first-team regular for Tranmere and Carlisle, will spend a month at the Exacta Stadium.
