RYMAN PREMIER strugglers Leatherhead are inviting applications to become their new manager following the departure of Mike Sandmann.
The Tanners have had a difficult start to the season after cutting their playing budget in the summer and have won just one of their opening seven league games.
Saturday’s 4-2 defeat at Billericay Town left the club second bottom of the Ryman Premier after finishing a comfortable 11th place last season.
And the club confirmed on Tuesday that boss Sandmann had left “by mutual consent” after ten months at the helm.
The former assistant manager stepped up to become first team boss when Richard Brady stepped down to become head of football development last December.
A brief club statement read: “Today (Tuesday) Mike Sandmann has parted company with Leatherhead Football Club by mutual consent.
“Leatherhead Football Club invite applications for the manager’s position. Deadline is Monday, 19th September.”
