Just over a week after their heartbreaking play-off defeat to Salford City, Eastleigh have announced their retained list for the new campaign.
The Spitfires have announced that a host of first teamers including Josh Hare, Andrew Boyce, Oscar Gobern, Cavaghn Miley, Paul McCallum, Ben Williamson, Mark Yeates, Danny Hollands and Joey Jones will be offered new deals.
However the quartet of Ollie Dennett, Lewis Harvey, Chris Zebroski and James Constable will all be leaving the club.
Speaking to Eastleigh’s official club website, manager Ben Strevens said: “It is always difficult when it comes to this stage of the season. Ever since they have been at the club, Zeb and Beano have been first class for us.
“We have had some honest conversations and it is best for both parties that we have come to these conclusions. We will continue to watch the young lads and track their progress.
“At their age it’s crucial they gain valuable playing time and that’s something we cannot offer at the moment. I am sure once they get back playing and they will see a positive outcome for their footballing careers.”
