FA Cup Factfile: Cup’s top ten set their sights on record run

FA Cup Factfile gives us the facts and figures as Step 3 clubs from the Trident Leagues join the FA Cup alongside the 136 other clubs which progressed from the preliminary round.

Step 3 clubs from the Trident Leagues join the FA Cup alongside the 136 other clubs which progressed from the preliminary round.
Twenty-four clubs from Step 5 are still involved with at least eight guaranteed to progress to the next round.
This includes Royal Wootton Bassett Town v Torpoint Athletic where the winner will equal that club’s best FA Cup run.
Notably, it’s just five years since Wootton Bassett last made the second qualifying round but it is a massive 119 years since Torpoint Athletic last did so.
