BISHOPS CLEEVE 2 POOLE TOWN 1

BISHOPS Cleeve caused
■ something of an upset as they beat Poole Town in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup. A fairly one-sided first half saw the sides go into the break a goal apart, with the visitors from Dorset opening the scoring in the 43rd minute thanks to Ik Hill.
Cleeve’s goalkeeper Lewis Clayton did his part to keep his side in it at the start of the second 45, before Reegan Messenger headed the Mitres level from Aaron Evans-Harriott’s corner in the 58th minute.
