WESTFIELD came oh so close to a massive FA Cup shock, but Dartford’s equaliser means the teams will try again in Dartford on Tuesday night.
A difficult surface didn’t help either team, but the Darts had the first chance, Lewis Gallifent saving well from Max Fiddes after eight minutes. Field took the lead after 27 minutes, a magnificent 30-yard free kick slammed into the net by James Roberts.
Dartford forced Westfield into desperate defence after the break as Gallifent was kept busy and Gianluca Botti, Dan Smith and Brandon Davey all went close.
