■STAMFORD are out of the Cup with a loss by the odd goal against Mickleover.
Andy Dales had an attempt for Sports that was wide. Sam Bayley for the Daniels tried his luck from distance with a free-kick but was wide of the target.
Dales saw a header when unmarked fly over the bar when well placed.
Stamford’s best chance of the game came midway through the second half as Ryan Thomas sent a ball over the top. Trey Charles
beat Chapman to the ball, rounded him and somehow failed to hit the target with an empty net in front of him.
