Hartpury University prevailed in the FA Vase fifth round proper, as they beat south-east London’s VCD Athletic.
A tense first half was unfortunately encapsulated by an injury to VCD’s defender Tom Carlse.
With an ambulance in tow, the opening exchanges saw 18 minutes of added time before the interval.
In that large stoppage, Hartpury threatened to go out in front.
