JAKE NOT WRIGHT MAN FOR COLLIERY

JAKE Wright has been ousted as manager of Sherwood Colliery – despite winning four of his last five games in charge.
Popular centre-back Wright, 40, was handed the manager’s reins at of the United Counties League Premier North side after losing out to Newark Town in last season’s play-off semi-finals.
A 1-0 win at Step 4 Boston Town in the FA Cup on Saturday earned Colliery a first qualifying round tie against Gainsborough Trinity. But it wasn’t enough to save Wright’s job.
