MALDON ‘CAN YET BE SAVED’

DESPERATE fans of crisis club Maldon & Tiptree say they are ‘realistic but optimistic’ that a last-minute takeover deal can be struck to save the club from liquidation.

Members of official supporters’ group, the Jammers Fans Association (JFA), have been told that the Isthmian Premier division club will fold unless a buyer can be found by Tuesday.
But they insists there is light at the end of the tunnel with a number of interested parties making attempts to rescue the club at the 11th hour with discussions over a potential takeover on-going.
