Paul Rooney joins Bromley on short term loan deal

The defender has joined Bromley on a loan deal from Colchester.

Colchester defender Paul Rooney has completed a move to National League club Bromley on an initial one month loan deal.
The 21-year-old center back began his career in Ireland with St Patrick’s Athletic, before making a move to divisional rivals Bohemians.
Robinson then made the move to England in 2016, signing Millwall.
During his time with the Lions, the defender enjoyed a loan spell at then National League outfit Torquay United, where he made a total of 7 appearances in all competitions, scoring once.
After leaving Millwall Rooney joined Colchester in January and made his debut in the Essex club’s 2-0 defeat to Southampton in the EFL Trophy this summer.
