Danny Collinge’s first-half red card changed the complexion of this National League top versus second-bottom clash, Barnet managing the game to a goalless conclusion against Boston United.
Neither goalkeeper was forced into serious action as Boston boss Graham Coughlan expressed his delight in seeing his side match the league leaders.
“We didn’t do enough to win the game” conceded Coughlan, who “enjoyed seeing [his side] go toe-to-toe with a club at the top of the table, even when it was 11 v 11”.
