Urwin signs with Chorley

leaders have completed the signing of goalkeeper Matt Urwin on a permanent deal.
The shot stopper, who was on loan from League One club Fleetwood Town, has been superb between the sticks this season, with the Magpies conceding just 23 times in the North this season.
Urwin has actually made 80 appearances for Chorley over 18 months, having spent two loan spells with the club.
The keeper, whose contract will run until the end of next season, told Chorley's official club website,”I have never played with a better group of lads or enjoyed my this much so it was an absolute no-brainer to sign permanently.
Fleetwood gave me a chance coming back from and I'll always be thankful to them for that, it just didn't quite work out the way I wanted.
Now I'm looking forward to the rest of the season and beyond. I think it would be a fantastic achievement to win this league and we just have to remain confident, keep doing what we're doing and hopefully come the end of the season that will be enough”
The Magpies kept their grip on top spot at the weekend following an emphatic 4-1 victory over struggling .
