Investigation says no evidence of racism in AFC Telford game

Investigation says

An investigation has found no evidence of racist chanting having been aimed towards AFC Telford skipper Matthew Barnes-Homer during the Bucks Huddersfield Cup penalty shoot-out defeat to Whitechurch Alport last week. 
The investigation looked into potential photo and video evidence but eventually concluded that there was no proof that an offence had taken place, despite Bucks boss Gavin Cowan stating that he believed that he heard racist gestures.
A spokesperson for told The Shropshire Star: “Following a full investigation from , AFC Telford United are happy to have been informed that there is no evidence to suggest any racial chanting took place at the Huddersfield Cup tie last week.
“Both photographic and video evidence had been presented as well as individual meeting’s with supporters who were stood behind the goal when the alleged incident took place.
“AFC Telford United would like to thank Whitchurch for all their support in this matter and we would like to wish them all the very best for the rest of the season.”
