RIO Clegg’s rapid-fire hat-trick before the break helped Radcliffe forget the disappointment of a midweek FA Cup exit with an eye-catching win in south Wales.
The front man scored three times inside seven minutes to stun hosts Merthyr and deliver a fifth league win of the campaign for the visitors.
Clegg punished an error by Jaimie Cogman, the Martyrs’ goalkeeper, and rolled into an empty net to put Boro ahead.
