THIS was a match and scoreline that didn’t reflect the gulf in league positions as Plymouth Parkway held Merthyr to a commendable draw at Penydarren Park.
The Martyrs started the game in the ascendancy, keeping the ball for long periods without penetrating or testing the Parkway defence.
Parkway looked content to soak up the pressure and play on the break.
The visitors created a number of chances before half-time and could count themselves unlucky not to take the lead thanks to some last-ditch defending from the Martyrs...
