The opening period saw
the visitors start well,
their pressing game and
quick tempo seeing them
put ‘The Wood’ under early
pressure. Jordan Pierre pont made a good save to deny Laurence Sorhaindo but he was given no chance after 13 minutes as Chris Sherwood fell to a goal in each half to play-off and title hopefuls Emley.
