WHITBY Town’s hopes of surviving in the NPL Premier received a massive boost when a last-gasp stoppage time penalty by Layton Watts earned them all three points at fellow strugglers Lancaster City.
The gusting wind made it difficult for both sides as they struggled to create many clear chances with Dom Lawson and Nic Evengelinos
going closest for the Dolly Blues both having shots blocked.
