■ CROWBOROUGH Athletic won this Sussex derby at Hassocks to progress in the competition.
It was the hosts who took the lead somewhat against the run of play when Charlie Pitcher was able to steer the ball into the back of Martin Grant’s goal just five minutes before the break.
It was an eventful end to the first half for Pitcher as he was sent off after 44 minutes for catching Crowborough defender Nelson Ajayi with his elbow.
Crowborough then pulled level in first-half stoppage time as Harry Foster was able to finish.
